The pages below are of each stylists work. Every stylist has a unique and defined approach to doing hair. While we do many things the same, we find that showing a stylists work individually not only showcases them but give the potential client an overview of the stylists work to help them pick one to work with.
Kristen Velletri
Kristen has been in the beauty industry since she was 15 years old. She is a member of the Board of Certified Hair Colorists, and also works as an educator for Lisa Kelley Hair – a company that teaches non brand specific, science based hair education to stylists all around the country. She has two college degrees: one in Fine Art and Graphic Design and another in Architectural and Interior Design. She is also a women’s life coach and run women’s groups that focus on self-love, sisterhood, and spirituality. She has been working behind the chair as a stylist for 20+ years. Her passion for art and knowledge of chemistry and biology allow her to work on clients in all stages of life as well as with all stages of hairs integrity. She is the owner of this salon and has passed her knowledge on to her staff and watched them surpass her in so many ways! (A proud parent moment!) She believes that education never goes out of style and by educating not only herself but other stylists and our clients alike we can bridge the gaps of misinformation and bad information and end bad hair days once and for all! (Okay… maybe not end them forever but a girl can dream!)

Hannah comes to us all the way from Georgia and she’s as sweet as the peaches they grow. She specializes in medium to long hair highlighting and blonding services and is certified in shampooing. (yes, that’s a thing!) Her highlighting skills are superb! You simply can’t be disappointed with her talents! She loves making those special connections with clients and making everyone who leaves her chair feel like they just spent time hanging with a friend. She’s the cool cousin you wished you had! Her dog, Pango, is our shop mascot, and when she isn’t behind the chair she can be found hanging out with her boyfriend listening to country and EDM music (us old folks know that as techno).
Natalie has always been inspired and fascinated by the beauty industry. She loves everything art related and having the space to use her artistic skills to create a look that best suits her clients is what she is most passionate about. She enjoys connecting with her guests to come up with a plan to make their hair goals happen. She goes above and beyond with every client she meets.
Natalie specializes in custom color services, but no matter what she is doing, she always ensures her clients are relaxed and leave feeling beautiful. Her cutting skills are meticulous and her bobs are stellar! She is the definition of a well-rounded stylist and will do amazing things in this industry!

Below is a list of words used in the hair industry that most people are unfamiliar with… either the definition or pronunciation or application. Enjoy!
Balayage
A technique for highlighting the hair in which the dye is painted on in such a way as to create a graduated, natural-looking effect. This is an open air technique, meaning you don’t have foils in your hair and sit under a dryer.
**IF YOU HAVE DYE IN YOUR HAIR YOU CANNOT HAVE THIS SERVICE**
We can get the same look with foil highlights but artificial dye is too hard to break through without heat and would result in orange, off tone results. Yuck!
Expect to be in the chair for 3-4 hours for this service.
Demi Permanent
Demi-permanent color contains no ammonia and deposits only. It is mixed with a low-volume developer to help open the cuticle and lasts 12-16 weeks. This type of color is great for blending gray, enhancing natural color, refreshing color, toning highlights, or for corrective work.
Foil Techniques
Partial Highlights
Partial Highlighting covers the mohawk part of the head only. Expect to be in the chair for 2 hours.
Half Head Highlights
Half head highlights consist of the entire front of the head back to just below the crown of the head. The underneath and nape in back is left alone. Expect to be in the chair for 2.5-3 hours.
Full Highlights
Full highlights cover the entire head and is usually used for maximum lightness. Expect to be in the chair for 3.5 hours.
Toner
A hair toner is temporary. They can be clear to just add shine or have some pigment to complement the tone of the hair or negate or enhance a specific tone of a highlight. It simply coats or sits on top of the hair. Lasts approximately 4-8 weeks. This service is usually done after a highlight and in-between highlight appointments.
Keratin Treatment
Keratin Treatments are a semi-permanent hair straightening method done by temporarily sealing a liquid keratin and a preservative solution into the hair with a hair iron. They are meant to mostly or partially eliminate hair frizz and straighten curls and waves. They can be performed on all types of hair, whether natural or chemically treated (bleached, highlighted, colored, permed, relaxed or previously straightened). The effect usually lasts about three to six months depending on hair type and daily regimen. Treatment must be repeated every few months to straighten the new hair growth.

Semi Permanent / Fashion Colors
Semi–permanent hair color is defined as color that is deposit only and typically lasts 2-6 weeks depending on the hair’s porosity and condition. Semi–permanent hair color usually has low or no ammonia and is a great options for clients that are concerned with the damaging effects of peroxide. These tend to be fashion colors or toners.
